In an attempt to overcome a creative block, I started channeling my energy into Blackout Poetry. It was a fairly new concept that helped  me uncover a different corner of creative mind. Soon, blacking out words to form meanings from a page became a favorite hobby and before I knew it, it began translating itself into art.

Along with my poet friends, I started a movement on Instagram where second hand, worn and torn books would be reused to make art using a twist on blackout poetry.
